ABOUT THE ARTIST

Debbee personalizing one of her pieces at her appearance at Babcock & Cooke on September 20, 2003.

In her own words: My work comes from an imagination that was sparked by a love for old toys in my early childhood. After years of research on the making of antique toys and folk art, I began creating holiday items using similar methods. The whimsy of my work touches the child that lives in each one of us. Each piece is completely hand made in a limited edition of 2500 or less. My designs are recreated in a paper composition, and like a fingerprint, each piece is truly unique.

GOURDEE Debbee created this special coloring of Jack O'Lantern Man especially for our store. It was the signing piece for her 2006 appearance. This item stands 7½" tall and is priced at $160.00.	SANTA FORGET-ME-NOT Debbee created this special coloring of Santa Forget-Me-Not just for our store. It was the signing piece for her 2004 appearance. This item stands 5½" tall and is priced at $135.00.
